Elle’s Blog: This Postman Rings Thrice…for Crime

This blog’s purpose is to introduce my True Crime Podcast, Steel Waters.  This production, launching in January 2026, seeks to share insights about criminal behavior, victim rights, and ultimate justice. Though painful topics are discussed, these stories, retold with due sensitivity and candor, are raised to open discussions I hope will also encourage, when appropriate, more than a few laughs.

Here on the Mississippi Coast, we have stories to tell. Some may be about our neighbors in Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, and Florida, but most, to our chagrin, will be ours. There is no place on earth without conflict, desperation, or despair, but it is my hope that through God’s grace, we can find a faith to hold on to when the winds of crime roll into our communities.
